Trinsic Releases New SDK to Check for Digital IDs

Over 2.5 billion people have a digital ID – Check with Trinsic’s network before sending them through a document scan

Trinsic, the first identity acceptance network, released a new SDK today allowing businesses to verify users 10x faster by offering digital ID acceptance within their existing identity verification journey.

As the adoption of digital ID grows, businesses using Trinsic will continue to have access to the most widely adopted networks with a single integration. Since the successful launch of the Trinsic’s Identity Acceptance Network in May, the most prevalent feature request from global brands to innovative startups alike was to add identity acceptance to their current ID verification stack. Today’s release extends the magic of digital ID acceptance to any business that wants to keep their existing IDV vendor, with just a few lines of code.

Regardless of whether digital ID adoption is 8% or 88%, an optimized IDV flow will first attempt to accept a digital ID and then fallback to a physical ID verification. Through Trinsic’s Acceptance SDK, businesses can check for a digital ID before a document scan, optimizing their IDV process in the present and proofing it for the future. By partnering with dozens of existing networks like Yoti and Digidentity alongside supporting international standards like mobile driver’s licenses (ISO 18013-7) and eIDAS 2.0, Trinsic projects their network of acceptable IDs will be over 1.5 billion by the end of the year, and 3 billion by the end of 2025.

The launch of our SDK builds on our roots as a developer-oriented company with 5+ years of history building products that are easy to integrate. If your product currently utilizes physical ID uploads to verify identity, we’re hosting a webinar on September 18th about how to integrate the new SDKs to reduce friction.
